On the one hand we have our legislators in the US desperately trying to shove through a health care "reform" allegedly to help the millions who don't have health insurance, mostly because they can't afford to purchase it, and to control the staggering health care costs. But if you look closely at the current bill, which our President is trying to get passed through both houses of our Congress, by behind-our-backs deals and without the input of a significant number of our legislators at all, despite his rhetoric to the contrary, that bill will actually only "help" the insurance companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers who largely designed it, and who are a large part of the reasons we need reform in the first place; it won't help the people at all. It will hurt those who did already have insurance as well as thoses who didn't.
On the other hand we now have S 3002 DSSA, a senate bill introduced the title of which is the Food Supplement Criminalization Act of 2010. That's right, criminalization! That means taking vitamins, minerals and other food and nutritional supplements will be CRIMINAL, like using heroin, crack or meth is! And yet those things help PROMOTE better health! However, if you take both of these in the context of the Codex Alimentarius, a global project, they begin to make perfect sense.... of the sort the "final solution" in Nazi Germany did!

Google You walk into your boss' office and demand a $35,000 per year raise and inform him/her you'll begin taking it at the first of the fiscal year, and what happens? You get fired on the spot? Your boss has security escort you out of the building? He/she laughs in your face and then fires you and has you promptly escorted out? Most likely, one of the previous scenarios. Yet as an American citizen, each of you has several employees doing exactly that to you and getting away with it every time: they're those folks we all elected to govern our nation, but they're supposed to be working FOR us, none-the-less. Yet at every turning these days, it's big business' powerful and lucrative lobbies who are "buying" the votes of our leaders and shaping the policies that are swiftly dragging this nation into ruin now!

Within the short space of my adult life, the US has gone literally from being the most powerful and richest nation on Earth to a hollow caricature of herself, which will collapse entirely, probably within the next 50 years, unless folks in the US wake up and take back the governing of our nation. Our Constitution is supposed to be OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people; nowhere does it say of, by, and for big business, or only the rich and powerful. You and I are the people, but if we don't exercise our rights as citizens, we will lose them. Freedom is NOT free or guaranteed; it costs and is a responsibility, as well as a privilege, not a right!
